I had a great day!

It's been a while since I've written on this thing... I guess I just don't get motivated like I did in the past. However, summer has been great so far ever since my last post. I've gone on a Griffin family reunion down to Diamond Lake, OR, and up to Mossyrock, WA for a friend and family camping trip. Unfortuantely, they were back to back and so 2 weeks of camping is a lot, but it was a blast. I feel so much closer to a lot of my family members (which is great! Considering we are all spread out through the country) and I really enjoyed spending time with my immediate family. Henry turned 17 yesterday, too. That's just not okay!

I feel SO great, though. Church today was great. One of the high counsil members compared the gospel to wakeboarding. Primary was a bit hectic now that I actually reflect on it, but my lesson was great and I felt that it was pretty fulfilling. I have the honor of teaching the next 3 sundays until I leave for school, too. It's great, though, because I get all this practice!

Casey and I are still going strong, and I love him very much!! He's home in Georgia now and it's crazy trying to figure out our schedules, but I'm so glad he's home with his family and happy. I sure do miss him.

For the next 3 weeks of my summer, I may go to Kahneeta in Eastern Oregon this week, maybe go to a YSA activity on the coast this weekend, but other than that, I'm really starting to figure out school; schedule, packing, car, job, finances, etc. I'm moving into a new apartment complex than my last semester called American Manor. I'm really excited about it. I know my room-roommate and the place looks great. I'm stoked to see some old friends again, though. Some of them I haven't seen since last fall. Wow, time sure goes by quickly.

DJ will have been out a year from his mission on the 13th. Wow! Ethan has been out 2 months on the 17th already. Brian is a few weeks ahead of Ethan. I sure miss my missioanry friends. And some missionaries are getting home this fall. It'll be great to see them again.

Funny story... the wonderful Claridge family invited me out on their boat yet again. you'd think they'd get sick of me, eh? We were innertubing and as we were going around a corner, I let out a high pitched "WEEEEE!" because, well, it was so much fun! At that exact moment, I slide off into the water. It was great. You really should've been there.

Maybe if I ever become un-lazy I'll post pictures from this summer. Maybe you'll have to beg me. Of course, I post everything on facebook, too. Until next time.
