My Saturday

Roommate Whitney invited me to go to Mesa Falls, near St. Anthony, Idaho, with a few of her friends this morning. We picked up a kid from here in Rexburg and then met the other 2 in Ashton. Here are a couple pictures from the event:

The beautiful upper falls of Mesa Falls.

And again. It was a beautiful day today. Mid 60's and not a cloud in the sky.

Whitney and friend Heath.

The lower falls, zoomed in. They were way out there!

This is more of what they looked like to us. The Lower Falls.

The "others". :)
Afterwards, Heath treated us all to Big Jud's (amazing, amazing greasy food) and they took us off-roading in his pick up. That sure was fun; it reminded me of Vernonia way back when. Whitney and I returned to Rexburg, watched a bit of a football game that some friends were in, and then I went to another bonfire (2nd this weekend) out at the dunes. It's been a very eventful day. Tomorrow, the roommates and I are going up to Whitney's place for Sunday dinner. I'm way excited to see what Sister Hawkes has prepared for us. Homemade food, yum!
