Surprises and goals

Alright, so, last Monday morning I woke up to this:

I wasn't exactly thrilled. But it was melted and done raining by that evening as we enjoyed a pleasant game of capture the flag in the park for FHE as a ward. That was a lot of fun. I have to say, I really have been enjoying the ward this semester. I could do without the uncomfortable chairs in the sacrament room, but all the same: the people are awesome.

I thought this was a cute picture of me... so I'm posting it! Yes, I still take pictures of myself just like from high school.

So, I have a goal. I made a deal with Casey that we would both have to take better care of our own bodies for the next couple years. That includes, at our own discrection, our exercising and eating habits, becoming a healthy weight where we feel good about ourselves, and have energy. I know that it's really hard living on your own and eating well. Casey goes to the gym 2 to 3 times a week, and get's his mom's home cooking. I don't get that luxary! So, it's time to step up my game.

Goal:
Lose 15 pounds within a year
Exercise, at least briefly, everyday (except Sundays)
Eat better - no excess sweets. Snacks = fruit and veggies
And stay active and busy. I find that always helps.

This will be hard. I'm not going to lie. But come support me! I can do it!
