Dance dance

Ever have one of those evenings where you want to do so much, but have no options? Everyone I know out here is BUSY. BUSY BUSY BUSY. Slowly going crazy. Please see following as proof of my statement.

Luckily for me, at the end of the day, I know who I truly am...

That's right, a superhero! HA!

Not really. I am just me, little ol' Vicki. I have reddish hair, greenish eyes (I really don't know how to classify them), love to laugh at anything and everything with someone special, and enjoy long drives with the windows down and music blasting as wind blows through my tangled hair and sunglasses cover the freckles of my iris.

Sometimes I wonder why I have this thing. The blog, that is. I am not a talented writer, I do not led an exciting life, and I do not have engagement photos nor a cute family to show off. This is basically just my brain when it's on overdrive and I have nothing else to do. You heard me right, I have nothing due tomorrow! I have a test due tomorrow night... but hey, I've got all day. I do go to the temple tomorrow and I'm way excited. I love the temple.

I came across this website via facebook today, called oneword.com. Ever have writter's block?... go check it out. I tried it and got the word "flannel". This plaid light purple flannel shirt I have instantly came to mind and how I would wear sweatpants, a tank top, and this flannel shirt when being lazy on Saturday mornings around the house at home. It makes me feel ruggish. I would be doing chores outside, laundry, making a meal, whatever. I was comfortable and I wasn't judged by the world. I was loved, accepted, and at peace. I guess, I'm trying to achieve that feeling while here at school. It's a little more difficult when starting from scratch. Actually, it's a lot more difficult. It's a daily struggle to put things in places and thinking thoughts to keep my actions and habits in the right direction. I just want to burst into song and have the world join in.

My parents do come into town on Thursday and I'm really excited to see them again! It's been like, 6 weeks!
