Here are a few pictures of our trip to Yellowstone:

Lewis Falls, one of the first views we got after entering the park.

Casey got to see elk!!

Besides the elk, this beetle was one of the first wildlife we saw... it was huge! In comparison to my hand.

Shot of us by Old Faithful, over a creek.

Very cool hot springs by on of the Basins.

Emerald spring.

This raven was so funny. We parked the car to go look at the geisers, and we come back to see a couple people in the car next to ours watching this bird. As we coem up, the bird starts getting closer to us. We ahd to get in the car and roll up the windows so it wouldn't join us! Casey named it "Ronny the Raven".

There were so many buffalo calves in the park;, we saw them everywhere. He's the little orange guy behind Casey.

Saffire pool. How beautiful and what a deep blue it is.

A shot from the car... the buffalo were really close and were cauasing traffic problems for a bit. but it's really cute!
After Yellowstone, we just took 20 West and made it home within an hour. It was such a great day. My forehead got fried and Casey got pretty dark, but it was well worth the trip.

That really pretty blue hot spring thingy?
Well, when I went there I threw a giant stick into it, just to see if it would burst into flames.
Unfortunately it didn't. So it just floated there, and when we were walking back people were remarking on how some rude person had thrown that stick into the beautiful hot spring.
And that rude person was me! Hahaha!
Thought you'd appreciate the story.
