Well, I finally returned home to Oregon after my wonderful, amazing, fantastic 2 week trip to Rexburg. I had to say goodbye to Casey for 2 1/2 years which was very hard, but I was so glad I was able to get out there to spend that time with him and several other friends. kandice got her mission call to CALIFORNIA! I'm so stoked for her! I was able to see Becca, Stephanie, Chloe, Russell, Symone, Paige, and many others while I was out there too. I miss my friends out there.
While I was out there, I had the BEST 4th of July that I've had in a long time. The entire day was go go go! We had breakfast at Casey's great grandfather's club's fundraiser, we washed cars, went to Winco, saw the Idaho Falls parade, had a BBQ, went to an awesome pond owned by Casey's great uncle, went down to the river in Idaho Falls and hung out for 4 hours until the fireworks show, watched that, drove in traffic 1 1/2 hours home and during said drive home, witnessed a police chase and someone being tasered. Then I slept like a rock and had a wonderful day in church the following day. It was a lot of fun. After that weekend, We were able to go back to that pond with some other friends, as well as help out Paige with her project for a class. Casey and I posed as an engaged couple so Paige could take engagement pictures. That sure was fun, and I got some awesome pictures in the process to keep. All in all, the trip was well worth it in my opinion.
However, I'm home now and have decided to enter the country fair! I have a couple Oberhasli dry yearling does hanging around still (for those who have no idea what I just said, they're a couple of twin girl goats I'm going to compete with at fair) and so I'm going to bring them down to St. Helens on Tuesday for a week. I'm really excited about it, because I get to enjoy fair without the stress of 4-H things. I'm sure I'll be posting pictures of my adventures out there soon, too.
AND I get to teach my primary kids next week, AND on the 14th will be the year mark for my baptism, AND the 20th is Kayla's birthday and my year mark for being confirmed a member into the church, AND next week is my family reunion in Diamond Lake, AND the week after that is my family/family friend campout trip to Mossyrock. AND I'm stoked!
Life is good.
