I feel that everyone has their good days and their bad days. No one is exempt from these things, but I do know that our view in life has the potential to change our circumstances dramatically.

Thanksgiving Break to Utah!
Thanksgiving break was quite exciting. Trish and I drove down to Bountiful, Utah to stay with her grandparents for just over a week. I got to spend the week getting to know her family and a bit of the community of Salt Lake City. I was able to experience Temple Square and be a tourist. This was my first time to Salt Lake, let alone Utah, and I really did love it. I have to say, I prefer Salt Lake over Portland, but Oregon in general still wins over Utah in general. Although, I could see myself living in Utah one day. I'd have to live close to a body of water with mountains very visible... We returned Friday night to Rexburg and had quite an adventure. After unpacking, Trish and I went shopping for Sunday dinner for 5 people. We had one bike. So, if you can imagine for a second: 2 college girls on one bike, riding down the street to the grocery store. Coming home, riding on the bike with 2 bags of groceries, a gallon of milk, and 2 purses. It was quite humorous, honestly. I only wished that someone was following us recording it all, because I know I would love to have seen it from a different perspective. And, the best part about this past week or so, would have to be the friends I made, and the friends I got closer to. People are incredible sometimes.
