Thanksgiving Break to Utah, 2.0

What an incredible week I've had. Whitney, Chloe, and I went down to Utah. Chloe went for training in order to teach children to speak English in Russia, while Whitney and I went for Kara and Ryan's wedding reception. It was absolutely beautiful. I also got to see Casey again after 4+ months. It was so good to see him again. He, Juston, Whitney, and I decorated the getaway mobile, too. That was a lot of fun. We were able to stay with Whitney's Aunt and Uncle's house, and they were SOOO kind. Love that family! We came back up to Rexburg on Sunday and from Monday night on, I was able to spend a lot of time with Casey and his family as they came up to Idaho Falls. The were so kind to me, feeding me and putting up with me! I was able to spend Wednesday night and Thanksgiving day there, finally saying "see ya later" to Casey that evening. But the visit there was great. We took a couple walks that week, including around the river by the temple in Idaho Falls, which is pictured here:


And of course, the missionary himself. It was so good to see him. He and I just have so much fun and it was wonderful to just talk for hours, and to see him! I got to hug him!! He's pretty amazing...

Oh, Elder Buttle. You are going to be an amazing missionary up in Alaska. I'm way excited for you to send back pictures and stories of your adventures. And, it was absolutely wonderful to see you again.

I miss my home town actually... but I get to go home for 2 weeks in 3 weeks!!! And Casey leaves in 2 1/2 weeks... but I'm just looking forward to the home getaway. Sigh.
