My First Snowmobiling Trip

Whitney and her family were so kind to take me out snowmobiling last Saturday! Whitney and I traveled up to her home Saturday morning and started getting the sleds (term for the snowmobiles) ready. Mitch was there and brought his own sled which ended up being a lifesaver for some of us. A few members of Whitney's family joined us and there were 7 riders total with 4 machines. Whitney and I doubled and we all made a 3-4 hour trip to Coyote Meadows in the mountains and back. We had some troubles with the machines every now and then, but it was incredible. I can only compare it to a really noisy horseback ride through the rolling hills, but with snow. The weather was perfect and the sunrise and sunset couldn't have been more stunning. We only have a few pictures, but I'll have a lot of memories!

Night before.

Look! My first snowmobile ride!

Whitney and me at Coyote Meadows! After about 2 hours to get there. The mountain snow was so deep, we'd fall up to our waists and still not be able to find the solid ground!

Welcome to Coyote Meadows... an outhouse without a door.

The gang. Just ignore my face there.

I can't wait until next time!
