Start of another new semester!

Alright, so after about 12-13 hours of driving in terrible roads from Portland to Rexburg, I have started my 3rd semester of school. Richard and I were fishtailing on the interstate in Oregon because in the Gorge, there were inches of solid ice on the road and once we hit after the Blue Mountain Pass, the slush on the road was so high you had to be careful where you put your tires.
But I get into Rexburg about 7 that evening. After taking a couple hours to unpack, I saw Courtney and Whitney that night. I can't remember the exact number, but there wasn't a lot of sleep that night. I was up at 5:45am that next morning for the start of Get Connected. It was a lot of fun. On Sunday, I bore my testimony to a decently new membership in our ward and sat through as awesome fireside. Monday, Get Connected continued where I was up just as early and wasn't done until late that night. I met a bunch of great people though, and I sure felt good about serving others.
Anyway, I am due for a few pictures. I never take many, but here are a few.
Trish went wedding dress shopping (not okay) and bought her dress! No pictures just in case the groom-to-be stumbles across here, but this is my possible Bride's Maid dress. It would be that color.
Also, while at home, my mother shared her Snuggie with me. How stylish, don't you think? I think people critized my judgment, but hey, it works! And no, it's not a robe. A robe opens in the front! ;)

Casey, now known as Elder Buttle, left for Alaska from the MTC yesterday. I've been receiving a lot of goodies (aka letters) from him, but I don't think there's much to say as Whitney and I have gone crazy.

Yep. It'll be a good semester. Oh, and get this. In one of Elder Buttle's letters, he said he was going to send a birthday package for me (just so the world knows, my birthday isn't until the end of the month, so another 3 weeks) but I didn't think anything of it. Well, on my way to chemistry today, I checked the mail and found a package... for me... from him. I remember him writing to me that I wasn't allowed to open it until my birthday, that'd he know if I opened it, etc. Well, I opened it just to make sure it was the birthday package (there wasn't any form of ID) and found this taped to the top of the inside of the box:

If you can't see it, it says "Do not open before Jan 29, 2010. Don't do it, Stop now!" And below that, which you can't see in the picture, was a little note to me about the package. I couldn't stop laughing. He knows me SO stinking well. Just one more reason why I love him so incredibly much! We'll see how far I actually get as far as waiting... my birthday isn't for another 22 days!!

So, I think Chemistry 105 is my favorite class right now... is that wrong? Define wrong.
