Saturday night

It's unfortunate when from the beginning of the day, we prepare for an epic adventure out of Rexburg (sort of) to have a social event around a pile of burning branches, only to find out that almost everyone you invited decided that there was something else they had to attend to.. last minute. It makes me sad when I don't have a best friend here in Rexburg to spend every moment with when other friends are busy. But that's okay, I'm a trooper! I'll do a bit of extra homework and await the call from the beloved boy. Maybe I'll have better luck next weekend. However, I will have a large pile of wood in the back of the car for a while. I'm not exactly a fan of that.

And I'm really bored all of a sudden. From finishing that paragraph, I've decided I really don't want to do the extra homework. I wonder if I have any pictures to share. Unfortunately, I don't ever remember to break out the camera when I actually do do social and fun activities so I can't really prove it to anyone.

We did have the General Relief Society broadcast this evening and that was pretty good. I raelly enjoyed Sister Thompson's humor and President Eyring's talk. At one point, we all sang "How Firm a Foundation" and it was incredible. Slowly, throughout the song, one by one, each sister in the Hart auditorium stood up joining the sister before her, until everyone was on their feet. The final verse of that hymn was one I hasn't heard before, but it was so incredibly powerful and moving and I got emotional enough to want to tear up. Maybe I'm just an emotional person, but I sure do love feeling the spirit when I can. Forever and ever.

Hopefully something exciting will happen. Like, Mom will post pictures of her new car. Or, I will go to Utah. Or, we will have a lake day before it starts snowing. Or, that bonfire will happen and it will be epic. One day, one day.
